Introducing the Alchemist Personality Type! Alchemists are introverted, imaginative, individualistic, and well organized. Their combination of high Openness and Conscientiousness makes them driven to achieve their creative ambitions. Being Introverts, Alchemists are more reserved and are less sensation seeking. This personality type prefers to work independently on their own creative pursuits rather than socialize with others.

The low Agreeableness of Alchemists can strengthen the manifestation of their other traits. Their rebellious nature makes it easier for them to challenge existing traditions and act independently. Alchemists care less about fitting in than more Agreeable personality types. However, their low Agreeableness can make them vindictive and antagonistic when taken to an extreme.

Alchemists vary in their level of Equanimity. Alchemists high in Equanimity are calmer and less volatile. They are less bothered by potential threats which can aid them when undertaking novel, independent pursuits. In contrast, Alchemists low in Equanimity experience more negative emotions. This is mediated, however, by their high Conscientiousness which allows them to prepare for negative circumstances.
