TraitMash is committed to protecting your privacy. This document describes the information that may be collected from visitors of the website https://traitmash.com (the “Site”).

Collection of Personal Information

When visitors leave comments on the Site we collect the data shown in the comments form (such as name, email address and website), and also the browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. When completing our Personality Test or submitting a Trait Rating, we will record your results including age and gender anonymously (we do not collect the IP Address for the submission) and may use the answers of visitors for research and development purposes and to create future content. TraitMash does not store any information you input into TraitGuru forms. Since TraitGuru is powered by ChatGPT, any information inputted into TraitGuru will be handled by OpenAI and is subject to their policies.

Retention and Disclosure of Personal Information

TraitMash will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. TraitMash will only disclose personal information for the identified purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws.
